The refined, picturesque Bedwell River Outpost is located in one of the best-preserved, temperate rainforests in the world in a UNESCO ‘Biosphere Reserve Area’.
This luxurious tented camp, close to Tofino on Vancouver Island in British Columbia is a refined, latter-day version of the outposts used by the early explorers of these farthest reaches of the old ‘Wild West’.
Accommodation includes 12 double and 8 family-size tents (for 2 adults and 2 children) internally decorated in an elegant country style with beds made of untreated wood. The communal areas such as the spa, dining room and lounge are located in separate tents, while the real heart of the camp is its typical ranch-style, timber and stone cookhouse, where guests can enjoy the magnificent fireplace, an outdoor lounge and open-style kitchen. The restaurant offers the very best of modern cuisine and features the use of organic and local foods.
